Stab Vest Australia have certain requirements under its own legitimate purpose policy. We require proof of employment, ID or current security licence to confirm your legitimate purpose requirement.
Please send your details to our email within 24 hours of purchase.

Why do we have a legitimate purpose policy (LPP) in place?
Our core business is supplying stab protection products to government, large security organisations, licensed security individuals, & various law enforcement departments working in risky environments, and as such our vest are able to be controlled. Response Wear does not want our products to be associated or available to persons with bad intentions, such as gangs, therefore we have chosen not to sell to the general public.

To purchase any stab proof product from us you will need to provide evidence that you comply with our legitimate purpose policy (LPP) to process your orders. If you are unable to comply with this requirement please do not place an order. Eg: Copy of security licence (Front & back) or proof of occupation or circumstances that passes our LPP
We have provided links or information pertaining to relevant state or territories laws below for your reference so that you can determine correctly the term "ballistic" and "anti-ballistic"
No Australian state or Territory has a permit, or licensing requirement to buy and wear stab protection vest, or clothing, as they have no ballistic characteristics and are not bulletproof.
As long as you pass our legitimate purpose policy, we will sell our stab protection products to you Australia & New Zealand wide.
All our vest and clothing are Stab rated to VPAM (Germany), NIJ 01150.0, & UK HOSDB Stab standards - Our vest are not ballistic rated (Bulletproof)
New Zealand customers:
There are currently no restrictions for purchase of stab protection vest or clothing products however, you will still need to satisfy our legitimate purpose policy We require this within 24 hours of ordering, otherwise a full refund will be issued. Email your licence front and rear to our email: sales@loadbearingvest.com.au or provide us with evidence to fulfill our legitimate purpose policy requirements.
Australian customers:
There are currently no restrictions for purchase of stab protection vest or clothing products. Purchase online using the measurement guide provided. After purchase please send a copy of your security licence or reason to satisfy our legitimate purpose policy. We require this within 24 hours of ordering, otherwise a full refund will be issued. Email your licence front and rear to our email: sales@loadbearingvest.com.au
